well even though "you are the sunshine of my life" by the amazing stevie wonder is from my year... i wouldn't touch a wonder song.. no way... you just don't do that...
so I do not think there has been an overabundance of Don McLean.. so I would have to do both part one and two of "American Pie".. and I would surely show up Madonna's verison..
PLUS.. I met Don at the Lebanon Bolgna Fair in 1988...me, kevin, tony, troy, rocky, john and travis all stuffed ourselves into kev's car and I am pretty sure we made out.. possibly in a Chevy (that would have been cool) .. but I think it was a Volvo.... yeah.. a blue Volvo loaded with dead head stickers....
